In this newly created role of director of entertainment for the B.B. King Museum, I manage the legendary jook joint Club Ebony. In addition to the duties at the Club, I am the point person for the annual B.B. King Homecoming Festival that takes place on the grounds of the B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center.

As managing Director, I am responsible for the recruitment & training, planning, development and implementation of all projects, events and activities secured by the firm. The firms focus is on projects that serve to enhance the community either through tourism, business development or cultural enrichment programs. The results are revealed in significant increases in development projects that involve community leaders, school groups, churches and social organizations. In this position, I also administrate community affairs programs, which include public information, outreach and media relations.

Production Analysis
City of Chicago, 2007
Provided critical analysis of the Chicago Promoters Ordinance, to the City of Chicago, for the establishment of fair and equitable policies for promoters. The overall purpose was to help underground club promoters to establish legitimate businesses. Liability accountability, revenue generated from business license fees and taxation were few of the benefits realized by the new business registration increase of 2%, just prior to the ordinance passing in city council.

Worked with Chicagos plans for transformation aimed at making Chicago housing resident less dependent on government. Managed 18 case managers, 2 job placement coordinators and 3 data entry specialist with a case load of 963 residents. Became the top performing site for 3 consecutive quarters. Staged numerous cultural events to stimulate interest and to encourage residential involvement and participation.

A record label with recording studio and artist management services, target audience was young, urban and conscious-minded.
As President/owner operator we released four (4) successful compilation CDs. Negotiated contracts with film producers, in an effort to get artists placed in nationally and internationally distributed motion picture productions. In this position, I functioned as liaison between the artist and music industry people at all levels. I was also responsible for overseeing all aspects of artist development and implementation of projects, events and activities secured by the record label. The companys focus was on projects that serve to enhance the Chicago metropolitan area, through art in business development projects. The results were a significant increase in programs that involved more local artists in schools churches and social functions.
